First be Transformed by the Message to do God¡¯s Will Gods Way

Steve Saint who was born and raised in Ecuador where his parents were missionaries and later he preached the gospel to those who have killed his father and came to love them, to regard them as family, to be baptized by their hands, and to be embraced as a son. Spoke as a speaker a selective seminar on the fourth day. The title of his seminar was ¡®Doing Gods Will Gods Way.¡¯
At the seminar he first asked the participants to share their ministry. Afterwards he began with sharing that very often when people go to tell people about God people use their own cultural background. Culture influence many things that people do and see.
¡°If we are going to do mission as God intended then we have to understand what He intended and even if we don¡¯t understand we should do it His way. When we go out to do missions unless we do it God¡¯s way then it isn¡¯t His will. What is done in the last century regarding missions is not God¡¯s will no matter how good intention it had,¡± shared Steve Saint regarding mission.
Mission for cross-culture is complex. Steve Saint shared that missionaries try to force the gospel into their own mold. He asked ¡®How do we do missions correctly?¡¯ Sharing an article written by Washington Post criticizing about short term missions taken by the youths, critics call the trips ¡®Religious Vacation.¡¯
Steve Saint suggested a know, go, show and blow process. First you have to know the gospel there are many people who take short term missions without knowing the message clearly. Then knowing the message, have to go where church doesn¡¯t exist, to plant the seed of the gospel. In Jesus time there were 11 ordinary simple men who were entrusted with the Great Commission to go and make disciples who can make more disciples. Next is showing them how to be the church. Then blow is meaning to leave. Leaving is the most important strategy. In the last century we have gone and stayed there forever without leaving.
Steve Saint shared that the participants will leave and rethink about the way to do missions. Lastly wished for all participants to go with enthusiasm and with the power of the gospel.
