Information
Christianity Daily is
a Korean ethnic newspaper based in the United States of America.
It was established by an ecumenical media company, Christian Today
Inc, which was founded in July 7th, 2000 for mission through media.
Christian Today only after being established for 3 years with the
purpose to serve the Korean church, to promote unity and development
in the Korean churches established the Korean ethnic newspaper ¡°Christianity
Daily¡±.
Christianity Daily was established in January 23rd,
2004 and is a newspaper with the main office located at LA and a
branch office at New York. It wishes to become the correct public
opinion for the Korean American churches that has a history of over 100 years,
also to be the Christian press which contributes to bring unity to churches
and development.
Christianity Daily slogan is <Simply
let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No', 'No'.> and with the motto
1. Protection of evangelism 2. Mission first policy 3. Unity with
church 4. Development of Christian culture. With these provide impartial
viewpoint and promise to become the eyes, ears, lips and hand for
the American Korean Christian¡¯s to become a press to be used greatly
for mission tool. We ask for the interest, prayer and support of
our readers.
Christianity Daily is doing mission
with the following principals.
1 Ministry for mission
Christianity Daily is a ministry for mission.
In this 21st century where the absolute value has been destroyed,
there are many who are wandering without direction. During this
time of problem our confession is that the alternative is in Jesus
Christ who is ¡®the way, truth and life¡¯. And this will be the tool
for God¡¯s mission to spread about Jesus to those who do not know.
Therefore in the information and contents we offer we put
our sincerity and try our best to put the message of the gospel
which saves lives.
2 Tool for reconciliation and
unity
We wish to be the tool taking lead in uniting this
land which has been divided by country and people, ideology and
religion and other things. We wish to be the catalyzer which God
will make the history of making us unite in Christ. Meanwhile till
now we have shout for the unity and reconciliation among the
old and new denominations. Also we have lead to settle problems
of Korean society¡¯s regional, social stratum, and generational problems.
Until the day everyone becomes one in Christ, we will shout out
reconciliation and unity with our voices getting louder without
rest.
3 Present a new media direction
We wish to present a new aim for the media medium.
We will only speak the truth in front of God, and through a thorough
separation of editorial office write a fair view of the reader¡¯s
voice. We will simply say 'Yes' to 'Yes,' and our 'No', 'No'. Also
we promise to be the living medium through open media through both
way communications with the readers.
Statement
of Faith
We believe that the Bible, consisting of Old and New Testaments
only, is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, is inerrant in the
original manuscripts, and is the infallible and authoritative Word
of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, all men
have guilt imputed; regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely
essential.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin
birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and
atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection,
in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal
return in power and glory.
We believe that salvation consists in the remission of sins, the
imputation of Christ's righteousness, and the gift of eternal life
received by faith alone, apart from works.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they
that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are
lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe that the Church, the body of Christ, consists only of
those who are born again, who are baptized by the Holy Spirit into
Christ at the time of regeneration, for whom He now makes intercession
in heaven and for whom He will come again.
We believe that the return of Jesus Christ is imminent, and that
it will be visible and personal.
We believe that Christ commanded the Church to go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every person, baptizing and teaching those
who believe.
